what is the difference between tinted windows and colored glass and which is better for a car

l was looking at the scion xd limited edition 2.0 and l was told by the 
mookiemook
dealership that the windows were not tinted but instead colored glass

which got me wondering which is better and exactly what was colored glass.

Personally I prefer the sheeted ones. Sure it may be scraped off, but

The ''colored glass'' ones are permanent unless you replace the entire  
piece of glass. Do you really want that? What if you pile up so many  
tickets from tints that you're just so sick of it. You wouldn't be able to

Tinting is a film or dye put on the Glass after it is made.

Colored glass is made colored.

Never heard of making the actual glass colored, because it is laminated

safety glass, layers of glass & a plastic film. If the glass was made
